Best of the British” Driven Pheasant Shoot
2024 Season October 20 to 25, 2024 Join us for an incredible experience as we hunt some of England renowned estates on a traditional Driven Pheasant shoot. Each day will bring excitement and history to your experience. Begin the day with a hearty breakfast then onward to the shooting grounds for your first shooting session followed by lunch and a second shooting session. After a days shooting we return to the lodge for cocktails then onto the local town restaurant for a fantastic dinner and camaraderie! The Trip. What's Included 200+ birds per day, both Pheasants and Partridges. Three days shooting on three different classic English estates. Loaders provided on all days. Gun rentals and all shells. (no permits required) Accommodation at the fabulous “Breedon Hall” (Five nights) www.breedonhall.co.uk Full English breakfast either at Breedon Hall before leaving or at the estate before shooting. After the first drive we take a short break for refreshments while the shot birds are collected and the beaters get ready for the second drive. After the second drive we take a break for lunch, this is normally a buffet style taken in the field Welcome / reception dinner on arrival day One "Tasting Menu Dinner" at "The Woodsman" Restaurant by Michelin star Chef Mike Robinson Full transportation during the trip. Airport pickup and drop off. Not Included R/T airfare to either Heathrow or Manchester International Airport Dinners at a local pub (welcome Dinner & Woodsman dinner included in pricing) Gratuities Day One (Sunday) – Arrival day Check in is after 3:30 pm. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served at 5:45 pm and dinner is served at 6:30 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your fellow Driven Pheasant Shooters. Day Two - (Monday) Local gun shop tour and gunfitting and dinner at The Woodsman Restaurant. Michelin star chef Mike Robinson will amaze you with his creative wild game dishes Day Three to Five (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) – The British Driven Pheasant Shoot A drawing of pegs will assign the shooting stations. Richard Gray, Our Host will act as Shoot Captain. Proper shooting attire is recommended Day 6 (Friday)– Departure Home After a hearty breakfast you will be transported to Manchester Airport for your departure home. Pricing and deposits. Full English breakfast either at Breedon Hall before leaving or at the estate before shooting. After breakfast a briefing with rules for the day before drawing pegs and climbing aboard the gunbus. On commencement of the first drive your loader will be at your side to guide you and look after your every need. After the first drive we take a short break for refreshments while the shot birds are collected and the beaters get ready for the second drive. After the second drive we take a break for lunch, this is normally a buffet style taken in the field or undercover nearby if it’s raining. A final two drives will be taken in the afternoon before returning to the house or estate shoot room for drinks before thanking our hosts and departing. Return to Breedon Hall to change and relax before going out to a local pub or restaurant for dinner. Ready to Book?Our Host Richard comes from a farming background and some of his first memories are of shooting with his father.
He has had a lifelong interest in guns and shooting and shot competitively for many years and have had the honour of representing both England and Great Britain in various clay target disciplines over the years. But shooting driven birds has always been Richard's passion and with friends he has visited so many wonderful places in pursuit of the very best shooting that our english country estates have to offer, so when he got the chance to become a shooting agent he was ideally pleased to put his experience and passion into practice and now have the best job in the world that gives Richard the opportunity to welcome guests and share some of the finest driven shooting that England has to offer at a price you can afford. |
